Summer Day Camps for Children of Incarcerated Parents

New Hope Oklahoma will offer comprehensive, full-day (8 hours) summer camp programming in the month of June 2021, Monday through Thursday, and supplemental programming to Tulsa Public Schools sites during their “Ready. Set. Summer” programming in July. The summer day camp in June will feature the curriculum, “Empowering Children of Incarcerated Parents”, which reinforces SEL competences with a lens specific to children of the incarcerated. Camp will provide traditional camp activities, STEAM enrichments, and community partner activities (for example: Discovery Lab, Gilcrease Museum, Tulsa Zoo). Breakfast, Lunch, and snacks will be provided.
